His Majesty spoke at the 108th session of the International Labour Conference
His Majesty King Mswati III who is currently in Geneva, Switzerland spoke at the 108th session of the International Labour Conference to mark the 100th anniversary of the International Labour Organisation.
His Majesty who was accompanied by HRH Inkhosikati LaNgangaza and HRH The Rt. Honourable Princess Sikhnayiso, Inkosatana and Minister of Information Confirmation and Technology yesterday gave a speech to fellow Head of States and representatives of Head of States in Geneva.
He also stated that the need for government, employers and employees to work in unity in order to overcome the challenges that now affect the future of work brought about by the fourth industrial revolution.
He spoke about how the Swazi government was working tiredly toward reviving the social dialogue mechanism to facilitate win-win outcomes that would create a conducive investment climate that provides social justice and protection of the rights of workers.

According to ILO's website, The Eswati King said: “As we celebrate this centenary, we are alive to the realities and the challenges of a rapidly changing world of work as a result of technological advances.” He praised the Global Commission on the Future of Work “for compiling the Future of Work report with clear proposals to guide member States on how to deal with the complex issues presented by the evolving world of work.
