Her Majesty Omugo Margret Karunga Adyeeri of Bunyoro-Kitara launched the first edition of the Omugo Netball tournament.

The event with theme "advancing the glory of women and the girl child through sports" took place on the October 5th 2019 at Hoima Booma ground. This proud about many sports enthusiasts from all corners of the kingdom to joined their Queen in taking part in exhibiting their netball skills
