Morocco: HRH Princess Lalla Hasnaa celebrates her birthday

A happy belated to Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa of the Kingdom of Morocco.

Also known as the Climate-Conscious Princess in Morocco, HRH was born on November 19th to HM King Hassan II and Lalla Latifa Hammou. She is the youngest of HM King Mohammed VI's sister.

She is a mother of two daughters, Lalla Oumaima Benharbit and Lalla Oulaya Benharbit with husband Dr. Khalil Benharbit.

She is involved in many royal duties and pays most attention to the environmental causes around the kingdom in which she chairs as president of the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment and is founding patron of the Lalla Hasnaa Sustainable Coast Trophies.

Two months ago she gave a speech on behalf His Majesty at the United Nation's General Assembly Climate Action Summit.

A week ago she presided over the Lalla Hasnaa Sustainable Coast Trophies where she handed out awards to 24 environmentally friendly projects and initiatives in five categories on Wednesday November 13th, in Bouknadel, a city north of Rabat.

On November 20th, she was in the United States where she chaired a gala dinner in honours of the Royal Alawite(Alaouite) Dynasty. The Dynasty was dubbed as a "Dynasty of Tolerance" and the gala was organized by the Em Habanim Sephardic Center in Los Angeles, California.
