The King of Morocco chairs a council of Ministers

His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco earlier today chaired an emergency council of minister at the Royal Palace in Rabat.

The aim for this emergency meeting was the approval of the Royal Armed Forces' draft decrees. During the meeting His Majesty together with the ministers tabled and examined four draft decrees, including one affecting military personnel under the Royal Armed Forces.

The second draft regarded the regulations placed on military personnel which included their travel, food costs and salaries.

The third project decree touched on the award of family benefits to civil servants, military personnel, and public servants in the various forms of governement i.e state, municipalities, and public institutions.

The last decree will modify the special status of auxiliary forces.

June 2nd:
His Majesty in his capacity as commander of the faithful chaired a religious ceremony and prayer to commemorate Laylat Al Qadr at the Hassan mosque in Rabat.

His Majesty was accompanied his son HRH Crown Prince Moulay Hassan, brother HRH Prince Moulay Rashid and his nephew.
