His Majesty King Mohammed VI addressed the nation on national TV on November 6th to mark the 44th anniversary of the Glorious Green March.
His Majesty who was accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Moulay Hassan and HRH Prince Moulay Rachid in his televised speech shared his vision and inspiration for a greater internal economy in the 12 regions of the kingdom.
According to MAP, His Majesty spoke about restoring old infrastructure and building new ones to boost internal economy. This was the King's main points and challenges he spoke about.
The Glorious Green March was a strategic mass demonstration in November 1975, coordinated by the Moroccan government, to force Spain to hand over the disputed, autonomous semi-metropolitan province of Spanish Sahara to Morocco.

A new documentary on the live and reign of His Majesty was screened in preview at the Lincoln Center in New York on the evening of November 7th, as hundreds of high-profile guests gathered under the auspices of the Moroccan embassy in the US.
The new documentary titled “Morocco: A King, A Vision, An Ambition,” will shed light on Morocco’s transformation during the King's 20 years of reign.
Lalla Joumala Alaoui, Morocco’s ambassador to the US who spoke at the event according to MAP said that the documentary will be talking about the "Moroccan Dream" and the vibrant testimony of His Majesty's vibrant dreams for the kingdom
