When ask about the changes Libya has been going through since the fall of the Ghadaffi's governance a decade ago, His Royal Highness replied "My fellow Libyans are living a painful reality, there's no constitution, no functioning state and an absence of the rule of Law. There's an external interference in Libyan affairs, couple with internal conflicts over power and wealth."

As most know many people on the continent have been calling for traditional monarchy to be more present and active in their various countries. As Libya as a constitutional monarchy prior to a coup d'etat by the late fallen president, there has been a huge increase in demands for the return of the House of Senussi(the former ruling house in Libya), when ask what was his opinion on this increase amongst Libyans and monarchist in the country to help stabilize the country as they have been going through a non-constitutional and identity crisis, with limited international help and efforts for consensus, peace and the high increase in internal conflicts over power and wealth. The Crown Prince replied saying "Constitution legitimacy is not a card that can be played, nor a device that can be manipulated, by external or internal parties or forces to serve their own agendas. Constitutional Legitimacy can only be bestowed through the free choice of the great Libyan people. The legitimacy came into existence with Libyan Independence and the birth of our nation in 1951, and will always remain with the Libyan people for them to call on."

When ask how he felt about the reaction of some people viewing the return of the monarchy as a backwards idea and how he sees this as a better way for bringing back good governance, the constitution and a democratic governance. He said "Constitutional Monarchy is a well-established form of government across the world, It is quite familiar to the Libyan people, who experienced living in a constitutional state with the solid institutions that the monarchy helped build. But I always reiterate that this is entirely up to the Libyan people to decide. They should be able to decide for themselves which type of government, they would like to adopt."
